Condemnation

We receive condemnation from others, whether we deserve it or not.   Their weaknesses in their life controls them to act that way.  If we are innocent then the only real damage is done to themselves.

We give condemnation to others with our own "vision of purity" in ourself.  We may be rotting on the inside but the judgements we hurl at others are, what we believe is a gift to the world.  If they are innocent then only real damage is done to ourself.

The only real way to avoid giving or receiving condemnation is through forgiveness.  We must forgive others for their transgressions against us, and we must forgive those who will not forgive us.

Matthew 12:7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.

Whoever is giving it, condemnation is a major sacrifice & forgiveness is just plain old mercy.  Kinda like what Christ did for us.
