Confrontation

Not sure why we look at confrontation as a bad word?  The dictionary term says; "a meeting face to face, and a bringing together of ideas for comparison".  Doesn't sound so bad to me!!  The problem is how uncomfortable it is for us to tell others the truth or receive it ourselves.  A lot of the time the conversation gets out of hand and we are forced to deal with a rather loud situation.  So it may not be a problem for us to share but we may be worried how others will take it, or . . . how we'll take it.

Self-help groups like Celebrate Recovery and Life's Healing Choices teach us tools that can help us relate and receive unpleasant information in respectable ways.
