Told You So

Those are usually the only nice words we receive after we have screwed up supremely in life.  We've let someone down, damaged reputations, caused strife, or physically or emotionally hurt someone. For the most part they are right so I guess there is really no nice way to eat crow but to just start chewing after it is shoved in our face.  Eating crow is to have our actions or words come back at us in a most negative way.  Things we've said or done wrong.

How come we never say "thank you for bringing my bad actions to my attention"?  Isn't it that simple? Yes we can apologize, but more importantly to say "thanks, I'll have to change my ways moving forward".

Self Help groups like Celebrate Recovery & Life's Healing Choices help us to realize what to say in embarrassing situations that we have created.
