Your Mistakes

Sometimes when we make mistakes we view that as a personal failure, a slice of proof that we are unintelligent or unteachable.  That is simply a lie that we perceive as true because other people don't have trouble with the things we do.  That part is true!!  Other people have problems with other things we find simple.  But this is pointless, lets talk about the reason!!

Fear of being ridiculed or labeled as stupid, drives us into despair.  We may view ourself as unworthy in God's eyes.  We fail doing something once and then give up.  So after that we have to act tough, be indifferent, use, drink, hang with the crowd we think fits us, or worse, sell ourselves.  Could you imagine if babies only tried walking once and then gave up?  Lol

Mistakes are inevitable, so the Bible tells us , and self-help groups like Celebrate Recovery & Life's Healing Choices show us that it takes time to perfect anything.  So mistakes are simply something to learn from, not hide or avoid.
