Plain Old Hatred

You have to look at why you hate someone.  It's usually because they remind you of you!!  Their mannerism are mirrored and shockingly reveal our mannerism.  We just don't like what we see.  So if we aren't honest with ourselves, we ignore, avoid, and criticize them.  That way we don't really need to acknowledge those horrible traits in us.  Projecting those unpleasantries gives us a...well...security blanket that makes us comfortable with no reason to change, because now its someone elses problem!!  I am who I am, but they are way worse.

Shunning our own failings is an addictive and compulsive behaviour.

Self Help groups like Celebrate Recovery & Life's Healing Choices help us to clean the mirror.
