Legal, Moral, & Ethical

We never question when someone who is really bad as to just how bad they really are, we just assume they could be worse than we could imagine.  We believe they have no limits to their debauchery, no compass of good within them, in our eyes anyway.  We tend to ignore the details in the situation in favor of the story itself.  Would you trust them?

On the other hand, we see people who are very reverent and upstanding, who live their lives according to the highest standard, and based on the history of those who fell we assume that they are all living a lie.  Do you trust them?  How would you know if they are true?

If a person lives a life respecting the laws of the land and of God, then they have good morals.  Their morals lead them to be ethical in all situations even when it's worst for them.  Their ethics lead their choices in life to do the right things when they are alone and noone else sees.  People can change!!

Self help groups like Celebrate Recovery and Life's Healing Choices give us an insiders view of living life "Legally, Morally, and Ethically.  You can begin to trust someone who displays those traits, but the proof is still a long term process!!  People can still fall.
